Ampd is experimental music, fusing elements of rock, hip-hop, electronica, and groove in an eclectic manner. My music is made for fun, but if there is life beyond my studio it will be in; shows, commercials, movies, and hopefully on your computers, ipods, radios, and minds.

Welcome To The Ampd Project.
My name is Allen Michael Perez Davis (AMPD).
I have made music for years, under various named and in various projects. And through out these years, I have learned many things. First, music is a journey. Second, music should be about expressing yourself in a way other forms fail to achieve in their greatest efforts to do so. Third, have fun.
This project is me doing just that.
In this current day and age of the internet, music is evolving. I realize this. Although I am no where near an expert on societal/habitual patterns, I see enough to know that the climate is changing. No longer are full albums gracing the ears of many--Nay, "singles" are gracing the ears of many. No longer is pure talent considered The Only way to make it. Nay, "auto-tune" will get you there.
While I am in no way, shape, or form the man who will stop this degradation, I can do my part; and create. I create music, to create music--Absent of monetary motivation. I will not use auto-tune, I will attempt to always release songs in packs of at least five, and I will always release what comes from my heart. I don't force creativity--I let it come to me. My goal is not stardom--this will not get me there. My goal is to make music, and know my listeners. If this gets to a point where I can no longer know my listeners--Then...I do not know. I am not planning on that happening.
